Description
SharePoint fields have much more flexibility than what is exposed out-of-the-box. Use the Advanced Field Edit settings to improve the usability of your forms.
One of the most common reasons for modifying list forms with SharePoint Designer is to control what forms a field displays on. If you want your field to display on the New Item form, but not on the Edit Item form for example, this can be configured with our settings pages.
Accessible via the settings page for a list or library, this add-on is easy and intuitive to use. Some settings are exposed as properties you can explicitly set, but you are also given access to the fields schema to make advanced changes.
