Disk App helps you identify and remove unnecessary files that are taking up bytes of your Mac's hard drive. You reclaim disk space, and your Mac will likely run more smoothly and efficiently.
Pros
Clean interface: Disk App presents information clearly in a circle, which is broken into wedges to represent different types of files that you may or may not want to remove. In the center is the button to start cleaning once you've decided what to get rid of and what to keep.
Clear results: Each wedge of the circle tells you how much space will be cleared by deleting the data in it. You can also see the total you could reclaim at the bottom of the interface, and once you've run through a cleaning cycle, you can see that those categories are now free of unneeded files.
Cons
Incomplete removal: In our tests, even after multiple cleanings, one category continued to display files to remove. These were always the same files, and Disk App was never able to delete them, even though it repeatedly suggested that they be removed.
Bottom Line
Disk App is a quick, convenient way to remove unwanted items from your Mac to free up space and improve overall performance. Its clear presentation makes it a good choice for users of all experience levels. While there seem to be some files it can't remove, it works well overall.
