Description
The original idea of the Arranger was to resize and move the windows of your running applications automatically. You don't want to set up which window should be arranged in which way - let an app do the work for you. And that is what the Arranger does, it looks which apps are currently running and resizes and moves their windows in the best available way.
Another feature is, that you can create or arrange Finder windows whenever you need one, even when the Finder is not the active application. To be able to move files easily between Finder windows, you can use a Finder Split, that means two Finder windows will be arranged or created.
These are the features I missed in other window management apps, so I created the Arranger. And of course, you can arrange the window of your active application, too. To execute a function, click on it in the menu or use a shortcut, which can be defined in the preferences. You can set margins, the width for centered windows and exclude apps from being arranged, too. For more details take a look at the next sections or watch the demo videos.

Arranger is a much-needed tool for the OSX interface, bringing resizing and window movement automation to the Mac. Living in the menu bar of your computer, this app allows you to set hot keys for numerous functions. You can move windows automatically, resize them, and split them up according to the dimensions of your screen. One of the few functions that Windows users have over Mac users is provided with this app.
After installing Arranger, which involves the standard drag and drop to the applications folder, you will need to verify the app to open because it comes from a third-party site. After verification, a new icon joins your menu bar and you can start swapping out windows, moving them around, or automatically resizing them to various corners of the screen. Even just the split window function is a useful one -- something that Windows users have enjoyed for years. When you throw in the ability to map each of the resizing tools to a hot key of your choice and keep the app running in the background whenever you turn on your computer, this becomes a very useful tool.
If you frequently work with a large number of apps and are not satisfied with the mission control settings already on your Mac, Arranger is a nice tool to add to your menu bar. It's quick, doesn't use up much memory, and allows you to quickly move windows around the screen to streamline work and collaboration between programs you are using.
