DayMap is a day planning app that helps organize your schedule using a more visual interface. The developers wanted to create a program for people who like to see, rather than read, their daily schedule laid out before them. The result is one of the most visual planning programs available.
Pros
Apple calendar integration: If you enter a lot of your appointments in your Apple Calendar app, you'll like the fact that you only have to select the option to display items from that calendar in DayApp. The developers clearly recognize that lots of people will use other scheduling apps, such as Calendar, and make it easy to include items from that schedule in DayApp's display.
iOS syncing: DayMap also has an iOS client, and you can use iCloud to sync the data between your mobile and desktop versions of the application.
Interface: The entire concept of this program is built around its interface. Luckily, it is a good one. The split-screen view that lets you see your entire calendar and the week's tasks makes it easy to get a more complete picture of what you have to do in a single glance. It's an incredibly effective way of organizing your schedule.
Cons
Exporting data: Although you can print a file of your week, there doesn't appear to be any easily accessible means to export calendar data in a form that could be shared with other programs.
Bottom Line
