Description
Easy Mail Plus allows you to type your message, and then just a few mouse clicks can fax it, print it, e-mail it, prepare an envelope, and print a label. Best of all, leave your printer settings alone. To mail your letter, just stick an envelope where the paper goes and let Easy Mail Plus handle the rest. You can put a sheet of labels in the printer, print the ones you need immediately, and use the rest of the label sheet another time. Built-in importing uses easy drag-and-drop technology to make it a snap to create address files from your existing data files. Use our predefined envelopes and labels (metric and U.S.) or configure your own. Use one of our logos, or any BMP, GIF, JPEG, WMF, or ICO image. Drag and drop addresses, logos, and bar codes. Put post office bar codes on envelopes and labels. Print to the entire list, one at a time, or to selected addresses. Print just one label or a few per sheet. Print a full sheet of the same or of different addresses.
Review
This program has a balanced combination of envelope and label-design tools, a text editor, and an address book, which greatly facilitates intensive paper correspondence. The interface is handy, though it takes a while to get used to. The address book offers extensive options for managing multiple records. It allows both quick-search and real database queries with multiple conditions. You can import addresses from Outlook or CSV files. All you do is select the addresses, and the program inserts the necessary data into letters and onto envelopes or labels. Easy Mail Plus lets you design envelopes and labels with your logo, return address, and even a bar code. The built-in text editor supports only RTF, which nonetheless suffices for creating professional-looking messages with letterheads, images, and tables. You can also send letters by fax or e-mail. The program would be improved by the ability to implement a simple document-management system for inventorying sent letters, but Easy Mail Plus is suited for both personal and business use.
