We like that PowerGrep gives you the option of whether to do a complete install or a custom install, letting you select from a number of features that include documentation, examples, and shortcuts. The program offers a lot of features to help you quickly find anything on your PC. Just enter a word or words you would like to search for and PowerGrep finds files containing those words; it even opens the documents within its interface. PowerGrep also offers extensive find-and-replace, as well as renaming functionality. If you're looking for a simple file-search program, PowerGrep may be a bit of overkill, because the feature set borders on a file manager. However, PC users with many files who find the standard Windows search functions sluggish will definitely love this program.
