Secugo is your FREE worldwide security network.With Secugo, you feel safe, you feel good! The app was designed by security experts to answer two of the most basic human needs: safety and community.Its intuitive design is optimized to be used in stressful situations. Big buttons, color codes, icons - every detail is there to guide you in the use of the app.What you can do with the Secugo app:1. Alert**Send alert messages** for Medical Emergency, Aggression, and Fire. Once the alert is sent, your family, friends, and the nearest community members will be informed of your status and location. They can call rescue and/or come help you. Your identity remains anonymous to non-family members. This way, we protect you from any threat of sexual embarrassment, racism, or crime of opportunity.Alert settings: You can define in Alert settings whom you accept to receive an alert from. From not receiving any alerts to receiving alerts from your groups and from the Secugo community members in your area - the choice is in your hands. 2. Location-sharing**Know where your family and friends are**. Create groups for neighborhoods, local traders, friends, and watch out for each other.Accuracy/battery settings: Continued use of GPS running in the background with high accuracy setting can dramatically decrease your phone battery life. WIth Secugo, you can define the level of accuracy you need on a daily basis without compromising your security. Whether you choose high, medium, or low accuracy when an alert is sent, the system will automatically bypass your selection and share the more accurate location possible. 3. Create Places**Get informed when a member enters or exits an area**. The places are geofenced areas you assign to a member or a group. Once a defined member enters or exits the area, you receive an automatic notification.4. Privacy**Respecting your privacy is essential to us**. With the app, only your family and friends can locate you on the map if you want. To be invisible to everyone, you just have to tap on the privacy icon on the localization page (in such case, the app is still 100% operational and will send your location only if you send an alert). Additionally, we do not collect historical data. Only your location and status information is stored on our servers to be sure our network can help you in case of emergency.5. Police**Be connected with the police** wherever you are. This is made possible by the international police number database included in the app.6. Safe Places**Find the nearest safe places** where you can find assistance. Safe places include police stations, hospitals, fire stations, gas stations, hotels, train stations, gas stations, pharmacies, and veterinary clinics.7. Pre-alert**Anticipate incidents such as Medical Emergency or Aggression**. Pre-set your 1, 2, or 3 minute(s) timer. If you do not validate it within the chosen time by tapping the screen, an alert will automatically be sent to the community. The pre-alert is a very powerful tool to escort you late at night, or if you need to self-manage certain medical conditions.8. Medical information**Save your important medical information**. This information will help the rescuer figure out the kind of assistance you need, and/or help rescuers reach out to your doctor or your In Case of Emergency (I.C.E.) contact person.
