Description
Ending Blends Word Builder is designed to help children learn about the ending consanant blends word sounds. The app features the blends ft, ll, nt, st, nd, sk, rn, ck, mp and lk.Builder Mode: For each ending sound the student selects, there is list of beginning sounds. After choosing an ending and beginning sound, clicking the "Read" button will display the new word, an image representing the word (so, a picture of milk for the word milk) and will play the word. Working speakers (usually built in) or a headset are required to hear the sound. The app contains 96 different word combinations, sound files, and images. Great for young readers! Quiz Mode: Test your knowledge of the ending blends. Students are shown a picture with a "Read" button (to read the word if the picture is unclear) and a choice of three possible ending blends. Do as many or as few questions as you want. Questions are randomly chosen. Score can be viewed or reset at any time. Be sure to also look for our "Beginning Blends" app!
