Project Management Software is a companion app for projectmanager.com, and it includes free helpful tips, as well as the software, itself. In addition to managing and tracking your projects through the app's intuitive interface, you can also watch videos and read articles written by experts in the field that can help you increase productivity and maximize time and potential.

To begin using Project Management Software, you'll have to enter your name and e-mail address. That gives you access to the videos and daily tips sections, which have all kinds of information on topics ranging from the "5 Biggest Challenges as a PM" to "Top 10 Timesheet Tips." There is also a menu option to continue on to the software, itself; but to use that, you'll have to sign up for a free 30-day trial or purchase a license. In the software section, there are options for viewing current projects or creating new ones, viewing all tasks, and checking messages. There is a sliding scale that you can move to show how much progress has been made on each task, and you can assign various resources to these tasks.

This app syncs with projectmanager.com, so once you have your account set up, you can use that Web site, and then access the information you entered from your mobile device. If you're interested in going beyond the free trial, your options include a starter package that serves one to five users and costs $25 per user, per month; a team package for six to ten users that costs $20 per user, per month, or a business package for more than ten users that costs $15 per user, per month. Whether you're interested in this as a free resource or an actual project management tool, it works well and provides plenty of value for the money.
