Description
Universal Fast Ping is a high speed ping software with zoomable and scrollable real-time chart display. Whereas traditional ping can only determine if a host is "reachable", Universal Fast Ping can determine the quality of the connection. Measuring network quality, such as to check if the packet drop rate is below 0.2%, requires hundreds or thousands of test packets. Traditional ping can only generate one packet per second and is way too slow for this purpose. Universal Fast Ping, using overlapping ping technology, can run 100 times faster. It displays the ping results in a real-time chart, so you can obtain instant feedback to the network quality as you are optimizing your network (such as moving the Wifi antenna).
