The desktop version of PostERP shares the same server server.exe, client tc.exe, and libpq.dll across all information systems. The only difference among various information systems is that they use different databases. In other words, the same software program files can run various Tera Rows information systems by connecting to various PostERP databases.

This is a 3-tier system - database server, application server, and client. Before client program tc.exe can connect to application server, server program server.exe must run first. Before server program can connect to PostgreSQL, file posterp.db must be restored to a PostgreSQL database.
