Description
Jukebox (https://www.playjuke.com) is a platform for building and playing shared playlists on any device. Once you create a playlist, you can share a link to the playlist with others, letting them add and vote on songs that can be played from a hosting app.
Some features include:
- Distributed playlist management: anyone can contribute to a playlist once they've been invited by adding and voting on songs. The song with the most votes is always played next!
- Distributed music controls: the playlist host can optionally allow for full music controls to be shared with others (i.e. Play/Previous/Next).
- Flexible access settings: playlists can be public or private, and passcodes can be optionally required.
- Discoverability: playlists can be accessed by their URLs or Juke Codes, but also by finding nearby public playlists by current location
- Integration with Spotify: joining a playlist to add and vote on songs does not require Spotify at all; hosting the playlist by streaming the music on the app requires Spotify Premium.
