Description
Successful completion of study would help providers make informed decisions about acute and chronic pain treatment. It would encourage providers to implement best practices for responsible prescribing which includes the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration for post operative and acutely injured patients. Course details opioid selection, dosage, duration of treatment, followup and discontinuation of opioid therapy.
