Description
The GADIP3 mobile application for Android devices has been developed by the team "O ThiSaVRoS", 1st prize winner of the Galileo App Competition 2018/2019 organized by the European Space Agency, in collaboration with the European Commission, Google and the European GNSS Agency.
The GADIP3 app is capable of performing GNSS-based real-time positioning in a single or dual-frequency mode, as well as considering GPS-only, Galileo-only and GPS+Galileo system configurations, due to its modularity. As a consequence of GADIP3 logging capabilities, access to raw data is made possible for post-processing validations, as well as for the availability of both stand-alone Android solution (FINE) and positioning results from the GADIP3 engine within the NMEA format.
Two types of users are defined: a Common User profile for achieving standard positioning solutions, and an Advanced User profile for much more comprehensive use of any GNSS-related information available within the Android Programming Interface (API). For better user experience, it is recommended to use version Android 9.0 (API 28) or later.
