With the NVIDIA VR Viewer App, you can enjoy 360 stereo panoramic images on your smartphone based on two exciting NVIDIA technologies:
NVIDIA Ansel technology is a revolutionary new way to capture in-game screenshots. Compose your shots from any position, adjust with post-process filters, capture HDR images in high fidelity formats on your PC, and share your screenshots in 360 for playback on your smartphone.
NVIDIA Iray VR technology taps into the power of NVIDIA GPUs to let users quickly generate immersive VR experiences of their 3D designs with amazing accuracy. Iray uses ray tracing to deliver a precise feel of the finished product, allowing architects and designers to immerse themselves in photo-realistic 3D models of buildings, cars, and other designs prior to any physical prototype being built.
The NVIDIA VR Viewer App provides users a sneak-peak of the images that users will be able to capture and view using these upcoming technologies.
Notes:
-- You must install the Google Cardboard App from the Google Play Store to view 360 images with Cardboard.
-- The "trigger" on your Cardboard device will advance you through different environments.
-- Pressing trigger twice will take you to the previous panoramic image.
-- We recommend turning off Auto Brightness if brightness adjustments are impacting your viewing experience.
-- Viewer currently supports JPG and PNG images generated by NVIDIA Ansel and IRAY. Images need to be of square dimension (1:1) for stereo and 2:1 for mono with max resolution restricted to 4K * 4K.
