Description
The Earthquake Watcher app displays earthquake updates from Phivolcs and USGS (US Geological Survey).
Map View displays a list of earthquakes based on the detected devices location. When in the Philippines, the app automatically switches to PHIVOLCS feed and, alternatively, USGS feed when outside the Philippines. Map View limits earthquakes displayed to within 24 hours from the current date/time and USGS feed (when outside the Philippines) displays earthquakes within 1000Kms (default) from the devices detected location.
A small status bar at the bottom of the map view display shows the current country detected as well as location accuracy.
