Review
This handy tool lets you easily restart Windows Explorer. ShellDispenser's miniature interface of three plain buttons and pull-down menus is easily reduced to the system tray. Some program operations can cause the Windows Explorer to hang, and we found that ShellDispenser gracefully restarts the Windows Shell.
Program operation is a mere matter of choosing the proper button to close, start, or restart Windows Explorer. For easier access, you can assign each function to a hot-key combo or use the command line. The only downside of this program is its limited 15-day trial period. Still, system administrators to home users will find this small application a handy addition.
