ModelSpeed is a model railroad speedometer.Ever wonder how fast your model trains are running in scale speed? Now you can find out. Speed is calculated by measuring the time it takes to travel a known distance. On your layout or test track measure a section of track as accurately as possible. This could be the lenth of a bridge, grade crossing or simply pen marks. Just about anything you know the length of.As the front of the train hits one end of the measured section, tap the "Start Speed Calculation". When it reaches the other end, tap again. Your model train speed is displayed.ModelSpeed comes in handy when trying to configure DCC speed tables. It supports F, G22.5, G24, G29, #1, O, S, OO, HO, British N, N & Z scales.
