Description
MacGuffin is yet another extension that generates per-domain passwords based on a secret passphrase (or "master password"). Unlike all of the other ones I've found, it uses the HMAC-SHA256 function instead of combining the domain and passphrase in an ad hoc manner and then hashing them. For an explanation of why this is important for security.
