Description

With Citra Pivot, advanced pivot tables can be created from OLAP servers that conform to the XML/A specification, but also from two-dimensional data, that reside in memory. Features include typical OLAP operations, such as sorting, filtering, slice and dice, drill up, down, or through, grand totals, subtotals, visual totals, top or bottom operations, empty cell hiding, and axis swapping. Since Citra Pivot is based on Java/Swing, it can be readily integrated into current Swing applications. Other features include create multi-dimensional pivot tables within the Java/Swing architecture, connect to any OLAP Server, such as Oracle, MS SQL server, or Mondrian that conforms to the industry standard XML/A specification, tree-like structures with expandable nodes, any number of hierarchies can be pivoted either to the ROW or COLUMN areas of the table, measures can also be pivoted which means that you can display more than one measure in the table, ascending or descending sorting according to the members of each hierarchy (alphanumerical) or the measure values they represent, filter out (hide) specific members of a hierarchy, create data slices by placing a hierarchy in the FILTER area, show or hide row and column grand totals and specific member subtotals, context sensitive menus for dynamically changing the appearance of the pivot table and for applying OLAP operations, beautify and customize the appearance of the pivot table by using different colors and fonts for each member and data cell, pivot table does not freeze while fetching data from the OLAP cube, highly optimized for performance and low memory consumption, by limiting the number of queries to the database, and query results are being cached so that they are not fetched twice.
