Description
Special Olympics Pakistan's Young Athletes App is for parents and teachers of 2-7 year old children with and without disabilities. Every child at that age needs play therapy to develop motor skills, hand-eye coordination for physical and cognitive growth.
The Young Athletes curriculum was developed by Special Olympics International after extensive research in early childhood intervention. This program has proven helpful for the cognitive, physical and behavioral growth of all children.
This App has 8 weeks worth of different play activities for every 2-7 year old child, focusing on walking, running, throwing, jumping, maintaining balance, kicking, striking and advanced skills. This program does not require extensive equipment and can easily be conducted in a small classroom or a park.
