Description
TrichEratops is an application to study trichome patterning. It applies focus stacking on a series of light microscopic pictures. The 3D surface from the stack is reconstructed using Elastic Map fitting. Trichomes can be marked on the Leaf surface and patterning statistics can be calculated from them. It focus stacking of light microscopic pictures, 3D surface reconstruction, Trichome marking, and Trichome patterning statistics.
