Description

Pic Scanner the mobile app that lets you scan up to four photo prints simultaneously, then automatically (and accurately) crop and save them. No need to scan one photo at a time, then manually crop. Pic Scanner is beautifully crafted, fast and very easy to use. In addition to multi-scanning and auto-cropping, you can also edit photos, add captions, apply filters, create albums; share (via Facebook, Google+, Twitter, email); and archive to Dropbox and iCloud.

Pic Scanner lets you scan multiple photos at once, crop and enhance them, add effects, and then save them or share them with friends. Whether you have tons of old family photos you want to preserve, or you need copies of your last vacation pics, this app makes converting those images to digital quick and straightforward.

As soon as you open the app, the camera is ready to go. You can take shots of individual photos, or you can line up multiple photos and shoot them all at once. Once you've taken the shot, you'll see a preview of the image, and you can decide whether you want to keep it or retake it. If you choose to use it, that image will be automatically stored in the app, and you can go back to taking more photos. When you've entered all of the photos you want, tap the thumbnail of the last photo you took in the upper left-hand corner of your screen, and you'll move to the photo-viewing area. Here you can see smaller versions of the images you've already cropped, the original shots, and albums. To start cropping photos, go to the originals tab, and select a photo to crop. On the cropping screen, you'll see a toolbar across the bottom with options for rotating, enhancing, and trimming. The trim feature lets you move and resize the cropping tool until you have it where you want it, and then hit crop. An image of that cropped area will immediately be saved to your cropped section, and you can move on to crop out another section of the same image.

You can also edit the images you have already cropped out by trimming them again, enhancing the photo, adding filters, and including a caption. When you've edited all of your images, share them straight to Facebook, Twitter, or Google+, or create a new album for them, so you can find them quickly later on. This app is free to try, although to have access to unlimited scans, shares, and saves, you'll have to upgrade for $0.99.
