Description
The steps to capture or extract a sequence of movie frames are:
1) Select a movie with the Select movie button.
2) Select the folder where you want to save the movie frames with the Select frames folder button
3) Either click on the Save frames button to start saving all of the movie frames (this is the default capture range) or
3) Select a different and smaller capture range by using the navigation buttons below and then click the Save frames button.
Prior frame button to display prior movie frame.
Next frame button to display next movie frame
Search>> button to fast forward displaying frames.
Pause button to pause or stop the Search>> feature.
Set Start frame button to select the first movie frame in the sequence to be extracted and saved.
Set End frame button to select the last movie frame in the sequence to be extracted and saved.
Reset button to set the movie parameters back to the default state.
This program is ideal to easily and quickly gather movie frames to make animated gifs.
Supported movie formats are: MPEG, WMV, DVD, ASV and AVI.
Operating system compatibility: Windows XP, Vista, 7. It has not been tested for other OS and versions. The installation wizard may ask the user to install also the Microsoft NET framework support files.
