MimicMe App is a Computer-Based Assistive Learning Application in Android Platform that is intended in training, assisting, and enabling the multi-sensory learning process of learners with developmental dyslexia.
That will encourage the learners to use all of their senses (touch, sight, movement, and sound) as part of the learning process.
The aim of this application:
For the learners with developmental dyslexia. In order to integrate better learning among such learners, this study can help provide intensive support to reinforce their multi-sensory skills. It also enables them to learn in the pace that is at most comfortable with them thus, being able to cope up with the transitions happening throughout the school year. Therefore, learning will become more satisfactory since their curiosity about technology will be given emphasis.
For the parents. The parents will be equipped and be given new opportunities to foster and develop their children. Moreover, with the use of this application the parent and child relationship will strengthen thus, building a better learning environment for the child.
For the SpEd teacher. This study aids the SpEd teacher to be more equipped with the 21st century teaching skills with the use of the application. In addition, this will aid the SpEd teacher to motivate more his or her students while learning basic phonemic skills.
