Users of Plext can easily send a text to anyone's license plate number, the owner of the vehicle will receive the message. How to format your plate number in Plext when registering and when texting:Please do not use spaces or symbols.Each state has a different format of how their license plates are written. For example, Pennsylvania has 3 letters, then the PA state symbol, followed by 4 numbers. It would look like this in Plext: ABC1234. Wyoming has 2 numbers, the cowboy symbol, then more numbers. In Plext it would look like this, "1212345".If there are any spaces or symbols in the plate number, ignore them. Only use the numbers and letters without spaces.Plext Uses:Perhaps someone left their lights on and you'd like to let them know. Maybe a car is being towed but the owner is not aware, or there is a car blocking your driveway but you have no way of getting ahold of the driver. Now with Plext, you can. If you can see a plate number, you can use it like a phone number with Plext and send a text message to that plate number. If the driver is a user of Plext, they will get the message.
