Description
The Phonics Screening Check is a test on the basic reading abilities of Primary 2 children in the UK. The test is created by the UK Government, and is is administered by teachers on all the children in their class.
The test works by asking a pupil to read a series of words, some real, some imaginary. The pupil is given a score at the end of the test, based on how many words they read successfully.
The Phonics Screening Check is a simple, rapid, reliable test of a child's current reading ability.
Phonics Screening Pro is a simple way of administering the Phonics Screening Check, for teachers to practice administering it, and to quickly mark and analyse the results.
