Please note this APP requires a patient simulator connected to the iPad. The Basic Mom app works in conjunction with the patient simulator, Basic Mom, developed by Simulaids, to enable all disciplines of health care professionals to sharpen their assessment and decision-making skills in the environment they work. Every aspect of realistic and challenging scenarios can be worked out, from basic life support skills to the most advanced life saving procedures during childbirth, all without risk to patients. When the app is used with the Patient Simulator, Nurses, Doctors, EMTs, Paramedic, Firefighters, Clinical Students, Healthcare Education Instructors and first responders can practice real life scenarios to better prepare for daily challenges of their profession. The simple steps of making selections on the iPad allow any level of instructor to easily challenge their peers. The software allows you to control all the Physiological changes to the Patient Simulator. Child Birth Fetal monitoring Heart Lungs Airway Sounds Fluids Eyes Pulses And many more Scenarios can be programmed to provide timed physiological changes with simple taps of the screen. Fully editable lists of Students, Medications and Skill Sets allow you to easily create the custom items you need for proper documentation of skill assessments. Once you have recordings of student sessions, you may edit, print and review any of the documents available on the iPad.
