Description

Most of the art in this app is from the Renaissance period in Europe, but there are a number of early Christian works from the first millennium AD, illustrated Bible manuscripts from the early part of the second millennium, Byzantine works mainly from 1200-1500, later Eastern Orthodox iconic art, as well as "new" art from the 19th and 20th centuries.
