SummarywsFILTERS is an iPhone app that allows you to quickly find a filters used within the Wireshark application. Wireshark is a great tool however there are 140K+ filters possible. Using our simple app wsFILTERS on your iPhone, you can quickly choose a filter type, protocol and then your filters are displayed, or you can search for a protocol based on a wildcard search and based on the protocol chosen, you will presented with a list of the filters that can be used within Wireshark.UsageOur intention was to allow IT Professionals to quickly find a filter for Wireshark, without the need to spend a long time searching for a filters or trying to work it out within the Wireshark application. Now within our iPhone app wsFILTERS we can assist IT Professionals to quickly have access to filters and then easily be able to use them in Wireshark as they please.wsFILTERS intends to be a complimentary app to using Wireshark.DisclaimerWe are in no way replicating functionality within Wireshark. We are no affiliated to the Wireshark company. Wireshark publishes all the available filters online, therefore we merely synchronise our offline database with their database once a month, therefore there is no burden placed on Wireshark servers as we query our offline database and then produce results on the iPhone screen.
