Current systemic immunosuppressive medications used to treat patients can cause significant adverse effects. Consequently, using combinations of different immunosuppressive agents and tapering each medication to its lowest effective therapeutic dose once the inflammation is controlled are helpful strategies to minimize the adverse effects of systemic immunosuppressive therapy.We present a revolutionary app that calculates the immunosuppressive load of our patients. Using this tool, doctors may adjust the doses of these drugs to minimize side effects without losing anti-inflammatory efficacy. The main objective is to improve the treatment of our patients, allowing a quantitative assessment of the degree of immunosuppression of each of the drugs and of their combined effect.The app automatically calculates the immunosuppressive strength of various drugs in function of the dose administered daily or weekly.
