Beeper allows senders to brand their accounts, so the app users would be able to immediately and easily recognize special messages and treat them accordingly. As a sender, you could build your own service using the standard REST API. As a user of the app, you would receive notifications from services that use Beeper technology. The Beeper app allows you to take control of the notifications you receive, so you would never again be distracted by messages that are not urgent or otherwise important.
