Addmi is an app that aims to ease the management of your contacts. To assist in the aim of this goal, Addmi provides capabilities that allow you to effectively manage your AddMi contacts.Addmi allows you to quickly find and add other people, who are using Addmi, around you as a contact. Addmi will use your location information to let you, and those around you, know of each other's presence. Addmi does this without exposing your exact location, but rather just lets each person know when he/she are near each other, and when he/she leaves. This allows you to quickly connect with new people you meet and will provide you with more opportunities to easily exchange information. However, you can choose to turn your visibility off, if you don't wish to be discovered (doing so means you can't discover others either).Addmi will keep your contact's information up-to-date. If you update your profile information, others will automatically be updated with the newer information. This also works for your contacts, when a contact of yours updates his/her profile, you will automatically be updated of the newest information that is shared with you. This allows you to only have to update your phone-number in one place if you change it, instead of having to let everyone in your contact list know manually.Addmi allows you to easily specify what parts of your contact information are shared publicly, or privately. Anyone you don't have on your contact list, will only ever have access to your public information. Those you do add will have access to your private information.In addition, Addmi provides the ability for your to organize your contacts into Crowds, that are as large and small as you'd like. With individual people, or Crowds, you can have quick reference for various pieces of information, and access to the ability to initiate communication very quickly.Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
