The Laboratory, which is located in the Brunnshg area at the Northern outskirts of Lund, southern Sweden, is funded by Lund University, the Swedish Research Council and Region Skne. The constructions started in 2010, and the MAX IV laboratory was inaugurated on June 21 2016.
