Description
This tool allows you to validate the OCR string for all machine-readable passports. The OCR string read by a machine appears at the bottom of the first page on almost all passports issued today. The string follows an international standard and include several check digits. This tool will indicate if the string entered is valid or not and specify any errors found. It will also suggest a correct OCR string based on the string entered.
