eTechs mobile solution allows surveyors to carry out valuations remotely, without the need to physically inspect a property. This offers an effective alternative to the limitations of simply using an AVM or a costly and time consuming full on-site survey, for properties that meet specific risk criteria set by a lender. Level of risk is determined through access to various data sources including environmental, geographical and LTV factors. Experienced surveyors with local property market knowledge can access information from various data sources including Land Registry, Maps and Rightmove to efficiently and accurately complete a mortgage valuation entirely within the app.
