The app is compatible with Androids that have a minimum screen resolution of 250 pixels per inch (PPI). If youre unsure of your phones compatibility, contact [email protected].

Heres how it works:

Order the VisionCheck

Create an EyeQue account & verify your email

Input your device Serial Number

Take a set of vision tests

Get EyeGlass Numbers which includes near-vision add based on age (NV ADD+)

If you receive EyeGlass Numbers, you can order glasses online (bifocals and single vision) or easily track your vision over time. *

Subscription Membership:

VisionCheck requires a very small annual subscription per account. Your first account is FREE for 1 year with your VisionCheck purchase. If you wish to share your device, simply add a new subscription for each person sharing.

You should use the EyeQue VisionCheck app if you:

Have a single vision prescription between +8.00 and -10.00

Have a cylinder between 0 and -4.00

Are ages 25 and older

Want to track your vision

Want to order glasses online

You should not use the EyeQue VisionCheck app if you:

Have light sensitivity

Are colorblind or have difficulty differentiating between red and green

Require a prism measurement

Have difficulty holding up a smartphone while navigating the smartphone screen

Have a medical condition that affects your eyes or eyesight

IMPORTANT NOTE: EyeGlass Numbers are cumulative so each person must test with their own account. Sharing an account with someone will negatively impact your vision data and the quality of your EyeGlass Numbers.

The VisionCheck is registered with the US FDA as a Class 1 medical device with 510(k) exemption. VisionCheck does not provide medical advice or replace a full comprehensive eye health exam.

*This is a self-administered vision test and results may vary. If your vision results are inconsistent, you wont receive EyeGlass Numbers. Our enhanced test performance feedback instantly lets you know how well you tested and provides resources to improve test performance.
