PDF Candy Desktop is a multitasking PDF software that offers multiple various tools for working with PDF files. The interface is modern, the program is simple in use. Batch file processing, drag and drop, files' preview and processing of password-protected PDF files is supported. Users can convert files from PDF to other supported formats (DOC, DOCX, RTF, ODT, JPG, BMP, TIFF, GIF, EPS, WMF) and along with that it is possible to convert files of the following input formats to PDF: DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, ODT, ODS, ePub, MOBI, FB2, JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, HTML, HTM. "Compress PDF" tool can reduce the size of the uploaded PDF file. "OCR PD"F tool is a great way to optically recognize the symbols of the uploaded scanned PDF files and convert them to text formats such as DOC, DOCX, RTF, ODT. With the use of "Merge PDF" it is possible to merge multiple PDF files into a single one. "Split PDF" mode provides with 4 different modes to split the file: delete the pages from PDF, split a file into single pages, split the file by groups of pages or by page ranges. "Crop PDF" tool crops the size of the pages of the uploaded documents. "Rotate PDF" rotates the pages 90, 180 or 270 degrees. "Unlock PDF" removes password from protected files and "Protect PDF" tool adds the password to PDF. "Extract from PDF" tool can extract either text or images from the files. "Edit metadata" tool modifies such metadata values as author, title, subject, keywords and dates of creation and modification.
