The Future Proofing App is for people taking part in the Future Proofing Study being run by the Black Dog Institute.
If youre registered with the study, the app will guide you to complete a range of games and tasks designed to measure your mood and your brain. If youve opted in, then the app will also collect information from your phones sensors about your location and movement. Itll also give you helpful updates on the study overall.
We are collecting this information because researchers think that things like physical activity, voice changes, sleep, and how often people move between different places might be related to changes in mental health. Collecting this information will help the researchers work out ways to detect mental health problems early.
For the most part, the app will run in the background and you will only need to use it occasionally to complete the games and mood ratings.
