A simple countdown clock that uses the system clock to calculate the days, hours, minutes and seconds left until Christmas all year, every year.
Review
Every second, minute, and hour that ticks away brings us closer to Christmas. To enjoy Christmas Countdown, you must be thrilled by that sentence. The toolbar icon is a jolly little Christmas tree, but the interface is a modern teal-on-black design. We like the color scheme just fine, but the typo ("Coundown") in the menu bar bothers us a bit. Watching the seconds tick away until the midnight that marks the end of Christmas Eve can be exciting. That is all the program does, though. We would appreciate skins, as well as the ability to add the program to Windows start-up, minimize it to the system tray, and maybe even set other exciting milestones. The downloaded ZIP file contains the program itself, not an installer, so remember where you unpacked it. Christmas Countdown is a safe and accurate, if limited, way to mark time until Saint Nick arrives.
