Description
Firestorm Plus offers a continuous, eye-catching display of symmetrical patterns. It does any combination of four pattern styles and six color schemes, and even has an option to switch settings for maximum variety. Patterns include lines, boxes, webs, and crosshatch; colors include firestorm, starburst, web safe, millions of colors, old school, and monochrome.
Review
This screensaver lacks fancy graphics or a groundbreaking concept, but it is totally free and also quite mesmerizing. True to the developer's description, Firestorm Plus places morphing, colorful shapes, and patterns on your screen. While the program's visualizations don't look exceptionally modern and aren't accompanied by sound, we do like the way they move across the screen. You can choose from shapes such as lines, webs, and boxes, as well as from a few preset color themes. The application also lets you determine how quickly the colors change. In the end, Firestorm Plus won't change your life, but since it costs nothing, it's at least worth adding to your collection of desktop-decoration tools.
