Description
All the toys have been made, Santa's sleigh is loaded up, and the elves have a kitchen pass to go outside and ""Spank the Frank."" Oliver the Elf, the foreman at the Kringle Toy Factory #7, is up to no good again. You must safely spank one of his penguin pals into the floating baskets for points. Miss the basket and you'll be singing, 'another Frank bites the dust.'
Review
Although its gameplay is somewhat repetitive, Spank the Frank makes a humorous way to kill a few spare moments during the holiday season. In this free Flash-based game, you control a paddle-wielding elf who must spank penguins to launch them into floating baskets and score points. While getting the basics down is easy, it's a bit tougher to accurately aim your penguin when you're really putting some juice behind your swing. As you advance, the game adds bonuses, such as floating cookies, and obstacles, such as spiked baskets, which kill one of your birds. Once you've snuffed out all your penguins, the game is over. While Spank the Frank may sound monotonous, it proves quite addictive in short bursts. We like the funny cartoon-style graphics and silly sound effects, which add to the lighthearted feel. Our main complaint is the game offers no degree of user customization whatsoever. While it's not likely to change your life, Spank the Frank is worth downloading for a few quick laughs.
