Description
Put a photo of anyone who takes a special place in your heart into a 3D, heart-shaped clock. This clock is fully customized and has a library of sounds and photos for background. It's good to use as a gift and for any happy occasion (Valentine's Day, a birthday). 3D Love Clock settings allow you to put your own photo inside the screensaver, change the color of the clock, choose a photo from a library to use as background, use your own photo as background, and choose music from a library. You can choose from many animated objects. The program automaticcally saves your settings.
Review
Unlike most other Valentine's Day screensavers, 3D Love Clock gives you plenty of room to customize. The program installs unobtrusively--so much so that we had to launch it ourselves from the Program Files folder on completion. When running, the screensaver displays a shining heart-shaped clock with any photo or image you choose showcased in the center. Unfortunately, you must enter file paths manually; there is no browse function when choosing your image. You also can customize the background image, using one of several the program offers or one of your own, and apply a soundtrack. Last but not least, choose an object to rain down behind your clock: hearts, stars, flowers, or even skulls for the enemies in your heart. Although the screensaver runs smoothly, the settings dialog makes the cursor hang, and the trial version displays a huge nag screen directly over the photo. The program's versatility may well justify its registration fee to lovebirds, sports fans, patriots, or parents, however.
