Bumper Arena

This interesting game presents you with a simple, but often daunting challenge. In Bumper Arena, you use your ball to collect stars and earn points, but that's easier said than done since the action takes place on a rapidly shifting platform that can easily tip you over the edge. In that event, you can tap into your power reserves to hop back on the platform, but you must be careful to keep your ball from exploding. At first, we found Bumper Arena downright frustrating even on the novice level, but after we got the hang of using the mouse to control the ball, we really started to enjoy ourselves. Still, you can play with the keyboard, which will come in handy if you decide to challenge or team up with another human. We rather liked the 3D graphics, although the sound effects annoyed us to no end, forcing us to turn them off. If you're looking for a game that's a bit out of the ordinary, give Bumper Arena a few moments of your time.
