Review
Fans of Dance Dance Revolution will recognize the premise of Super Tap a Jam, but here you tap your fingers instead of your feet. The controls are drop-dead simple: You just use your arrow keys. The hard part is what you must do with those four little keys. On loading a new game, the music starts and arrows begin flying across your screen. You must hit the relevant arrow key at the exact moment each arrow matches its own outline in the scoring area. This coincides with the beat of the song, so both your musicality and your dexterity are tested. The challenge grows as the arrows accumulate and the beats per minute increase. Still, the trial version won't make you break a sweat, since the more musically innovative songs are only available in the full version. The demo version does its job, though, easily hooking you with its addictive gameplay and making you want more when it's over.
