Description
Project Planner Reader is a free reader and viewer for reading files created by Smartworks Project Planner 4. It frees you from having to use project-management software to share project plans among users. Now your customers can view the progress of their projects in terms of Gantt charts, network diagrams, and other graphical charts.
Review
This program displays files created in Smartworks Project Planner, but you cannot edit or print those files. You can view details using such reports as a time line, resource lists, and cost projections. Users are not required to have a familiarity with the full Smartworks planner. The interface mimics the full editor with well-displayed icons for all major reports. Other options are listed but disabled in this freeware. The viewer uses fewer resources than the full program. The inability to print reports greatly reduces the usefulness of this program. As a result, Smartworks - Project Planner Reader is recommended only for those with a passing interest in the Smartworks project files created but who don't need or want to alter or print its contents.
