Description
This award-winning, 3D, underwater screensaver now takes you on a scuba dive to a thriving, living reef, as well as to an old Spanish galleon that has become the habitat of the world's most dangerous sharks. You'll come face-to-face with great whites, makos, tigers, hammerheads, and other toothy sharks of the deep. You get to choose among various angles of the sunken galleon or follow the randomly changing course of the scuba diver's view as you go around, over, and even through the Spanish galleon, or through the entirely new, 3D, living-reef scene.
Review
This high-quality, feature-packed screensaver takes you to the bottom of the sea, where you'll come face-to-face with several species of shark. Upon launch, SharkVisions displays an underwater scene that features hammerhead, blue, and white-tip sharks prowling the ruins of a sunken ship. The movement of the swimming sharks is intimidatingly realistic, and the sounds of the creaking shipwreck and bubbling water add the right ambience. SharkVisions also boasts excellent graphics and a comprehenisve feature set. For example, you can view the scene from the ship's bow, stern, or deck; set the camera to still or moving; and specify the amount of light and fog. In addition, the screensaver also lets you set your own WAV files as a soundtrack. The trial version displays a small nag screen, but it's quite unobtrusive and shouldn't bother most users. All told, this polished program should appeal to a wide range of folks seeking an adware-free screensaver.
