Like the disk space, the memory never suffices. Before plugging in another RAM module, you may try RAMBooster.Net to optimize the usage of the memory available. It can monitor the amount of available physical memory and automatically free it up. The interface looks dull but is quite helpful. The Tray icon lets you run optimization with one click (however it doesn t display the quantity of free memory). The program doesn t consider the processor load when running optimization so it may even slow down your computer. Unlike many of its competitors, RAMBooster.Net provides no extra functionality, such as displaying running processes and startup programs. The program is especially useful if you can't enlarge the physical RAM without changing the mainboard.
