Description
This program will automatically free up RAM when available memory reaches your preset level. The strip chart shows three lines representing CPU usage, available hard drive and available memory. Memory Sentinel Pro can also show available bytes for 1 to 6 hard drives. The CPU usage fingerprint is very small.
Review
This utility optimizes your computer's performance by releasing unused RAM, though it lacks advanced features found in other memory managers. Memory Sentinel Pro's main interface graphically displays the CPU, memory, and disk space usage. An adjustable slider is available to set a user-defined critical limit, and then the program runs only if the available RAM reaches this limit. In our tests, Memory Sentinel Pro did successfully release a considerable amount of RAM, although in general our computer became sluggish as it ran. The application doesn't have any options for setting time intervals between optimizations and you can't do manual optimizations. Setting high limits dramatically increases the workload of the CPU and page file usage. Its nominal features don't coincide with its name, but we still can recommend this application for novice users who wish to enhance their computer's performance.
