Memory Zipper Plus optimizes Windows memory management and the performance of your PC under Windows 95, 98, ME, and Windows NT/2000/XP. You can optimize the memory of your PC by one click or automatically. Besides optimizing, it also comes with several tools such as performance monitors, a tuning Windows cache, virtual memory settings, performance settings under Windows XP/2000/NT, a task manager, a CPU cooler to save power, and Data Safe technology.
Review
Memory Zipper Plus automatically monitors your system to recover unallocated memory, but lacks advanced configuration functions found in some other managers. While we wished for more detailed program configuration tools, the application's simple interface, clear instructions, and ease of use make this program beneficial for novices. To improve system performance simply choose to either optimize the system for speed or low available memory and the program adjusts the required Windows settings. In the event of system failure, the program s DataSafe function automatically saves memory data to disk. The function to set the CPU to power-saving mode to reduce heat works only for Windows 95/98/ME. We found the included task manager too simple to recommend using it over the system default. The one-click adjustments and jargon-free help tips make Memory Zipper Plus helpful for novices, but others will find more advanced memory tools elsewhere.
